Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Firearms

All firearm sales are final after the firearm has been delivered to the customer.

Before accepting delivery, the customer must inspect the firearm and confirm that it is the correct make, model, caliber, configuration, and serial numbered item.

A firearm that is damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered should not be accepted until the issue has been documented and reviewed.

After delivery, firearms cannot be returned for a refund or ordinary exchange. Manufacturer defects will generally be handled through the manufacturer's warranty. Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo may assist customers with manufacturer warranty claims when appropriate.

2. Firearm Cancellations Before Delivery

A customer may request cancellation before delivery.

Cancellation does not become effective until accepted by management.

The following amounts are nonrefundable when they have already been incurred:

Government and DROS fees.

Transfer fees.

Shipping and insurance charges.

Payment processing charges when legally permitted and properly disclosed.

Special order expenses.

Work already performed.

Applicable cancellation or restocking charges.

Regularly stocked firearms are subject to a 15 percent cancellation fee.

Special order firearms are subject to a 20 percent cancellation fee.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after applicable nonrefundable fees and charges have been deducted.

3. Denied, Delayed, Ineligible, or Incomplete Transactions

If a customer cannot legally complete a firearm transfer because of a denial, ineligibility determination, missing documentation, inaccurate information, failure to comply with applicable requirements, or another legal restriction, the transaction may be canceled.

Government fees, transfer fees, shipping charges, special order expenses, and other costs already incurred are nonrefundable.

Any remaining refund will be subject to the applicable cancellation fee.

A delayed transaction remains subject to the normal cancellation terms.

4. Ammunition and Reloading Components

All sales of ammunition, primers, powder, projectiles, loaded magazines, and reloading components are final.

Returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Customers are responsible for confirming caliber, gauge, cartridge designation, bullet weight, and compatibility before completing the purchase.

An exception may be considered when Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo supplied the wrong unopened product or when merchandise was demonstrably defective when sold.

5. Firearm Parts

Eligible firearm parts may be returned within 14 calendar days of purchase only when they are unused, uninstalled, unmodified, complete, in their original undamaged packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.

Returns will not be accepted for parts showing evidence of fitting, filing, drilling, polishing, staking, pin installation, thread locking compound, firing, attempted installation, or other alteration.

Firearm parts are not guaranteed to be drop in components. Professional fitting may be required.

6. Optics, Electronics, and Accessories

Eligible optics, electronics, and accessories may be returned within 14 calendar days when they are new, unused, complete, and in resalable condition.

Items that are not eligible for return include mounted optics showing mounting marks, opened batteries, worn electronic hearing protection, used cleaning supplies, cut to length merchandise, personalized or engraved merchandise, and clearance, closeout, liquidation, or as is merchandise.

7. Special Orders

Special order, allocated, discontinued, customized, engraved, modified, or customer specific merchandise is nonreturnable and nonrefundable.

Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo may require a deposit of at least 25 percent or full payment when required by the distributor.

A special order may be refunded without penalty if Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo cannot obtain the exact item ordered, supplies the wrong item, or materially misrepresents the item's availability or specifications.

8. Used and Consignment Firearms

Used and consignment firearms are sold as is, subject to any written representations specifically stated on the sales documents.

Customers are responsible for inspecting the firearm before accepting delivery.

No warranty regarding cosmetic condition, previous use, accuracy, or remaining service life is provided unless expressly stated in writing.

9. Gunsmithing Services

Gunsmithing services are not returnable or refundable once performed.

Workmanship concerns are governed by the Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo 90 day workmanship warranty.

Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct an alleged workmanship issue before outside repair work is authorized.

Diagnostic and bench fees are nonrefundable once inspection begins.

Deposits become nonrefundable once parts are ordered or work begins.

Customer authorized work remains payable when completed even when the repair does not correct an unrelated or intermittent problem.

10. Approved Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

The original receipt may be required.

Refunds are limited to the amount actually paid.

Original or expedited shipping charges are not refundable unless Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo made the error.

Allow up to 10 business days for approved refunds to be processed.

Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo reserves the right to refuse returns involving incomplete, used, damaged, altered, unsafe, or improperly returned merchandise.

11. Management Discretion

Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo reserves the right to make reasonable exceptions when circumstances warrant.

Any exception is considered a one time accommodation and does not modify this policy or establish an ongoing practice.
