Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 8/14/26

By purchasing merchandise, requesting gunsmithing services, placing a special order, arranging an FFL transfer, or otherwise doing business with Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1. Compliance With Applicable Requirements

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and all identification, documentation, permits, licenses, or other information necessary to complete a transaction.

A firearm transaction may be canceled if the customer is denied, determined to be ineligible, fails to provide required documentation, provides inaccurate information, or cannot lawfully receive the firearm.

2. Inspection of Firearms

Customers must inspect firearms before accepting delivery and verify the make, model, caliber, configuration, and serial numbered item.

Once a firearm is delivered to the customer, the sale is final except as otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing.

3. Special Orders

Special order, allocated, discontinued, customized, engraved, modified, or customer specific merchandise is generally nonreturnable and nonrefundable.

Deposits or full payment may be required before the order is placed.

4. Used and Consignment Merchandise

Used and consignment firearms are sold as is unless specific written representations are made on the applicable sales document.

Customers should inspect these items carefully before accepting delivery.

5. Firearm Parts and Compatibility

Firearm parts are not guaranteed to be drop in components.

Compatibility information is provided as a general guide. Professional fitting may be required.

Parts that have been installed, modified, fitted, drilled, polished, fired, or otherwise altered may not be returned.

6. Gunsmithing Services

Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo warrants gunsmithing labor for 90 days from the date the firearm is returned to the customer against defects in workmanship under normal use.

If an issue is determined to result from workmanship performed by Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo, the issue will be corrected without an additional labor charge.

The workmanship warranty does not cover normal wear, customer misuse, neglect, corrosion, unauthorized modifications, defective or improper ammunition, manufacturer defects, incompatible customer supplied parts, or circumstances outside the shop's workmanship.

7. Accuracy and Trigger Work

Specific firearm accuracy is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing before the work is performed.

Trigger modifications are performed according to customer specifications and applicable safety standards. Subsequent adjustment by another party may void the workmanship warranty relating to the trigger system.

8. Manufacturer Warranties

Replacement parts and manufacturer supplied products remain subject to the manufacturer's warranty, if any.

Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo may assist customers with manufacturer warranty claims but does not provide an independent manufacturer warranty unless expressly stated in writing.

9. FFL Transfer Services

Transfer, receiving, storage, background check, documentation, and processing fees are service fees.

These fees become nonrefundable once the firearm has been received or processing has begun.

Customers may also be responsible for return shipping, insurance, seller fees, storage charges, and costs resulting from an unlawful, noncompliant, or incorrectly shipped firearm.

10. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations

Purchases, cancellations, refunds, and returns are governed by the separate Scott Torres Gunsmith Arms & Ammo Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy.

11. Policy Exceptions

Management may make reasonable exceptions when appropriate.

An individual exception does not modify these Terms and Conditions or create an obligation to provide the same exception in the future.
